Back in her hometown of Austin, Texas, Kelley's first recording was a single on the "Austin Unknowns" release. She also recorded a song on "Men with the Burning Guitars".

After relocating to Los Angeles, Miss Foster joined the Crazy Rhythm Hot Society Orchestra and the Mike Henebry Orchestra, led by Mike Henebry, with whom she made several recordings as lead vocalist. Between the two ensembles, you will hear authentic arrangements and instrumentation of the 1910's to the early 1940's.

One of her current recordings is an original song, "Fly With Los Angeles", A New City Anthem™ which raises funds and awareness for City programs and local charities. We are working with Cynthia Ruiz, President of the L.A. Board of Public Works, toward its official adoption as the City song. Kelley is currently working on her debut CD of original work featuring an intriguing and stimulating array of styles, artfully crafted from the soul. Writing songs is one of her most satisfying accomplishments, creatively and spiritually. When registering copyrights with the Library of Congress, she is tempted to write "Universal Spirit" as the author, but the package would be sent back!
